Both appear in the same manner with irregular shapes and gray color.

In contrast, the sizes of these two gravels are different. Ca7 is bigger than ca6 because ca7 contains particles from ¾ to 1-1/4 inch while ca6 has particles from ¾ inch to smaller ones. When it comes to usage, ca6 is better for construction that needs compact and smooth surfaces, such as roads, parking lots, etc.

On the other hand, ca7 is widely used for bedding and drainage construction. Besides, ca7 is the better option for asphalt binding due to its ability to water drainage. The cost is always different because ca7 is more costly than ca6 gravel. The price difference usually lies between $4 to $5.
